Sharm Dreams Vacation Club - Aqua Park ★★★★★

We enjoyed the great location and specially the very helpfull staff. I give the staff more ylthsn 5 stars. Specially our room keeping staff Ahmad who was very clean and responded well to any request. The view outside the room was fantastic.

There was no Wifi. The room was dusty in the beginning as if no one lived there for a while. The shower water had low pressure.

If you go to Egypt, bring only USD in CASH with you. DO NOT BRING EUR / GBP / do not try to pay with card, it is worth to change at home at a bureaux de change. YOU ARE FORBIDDEN TO PAY ACCOMODATION IN EGP BY THE LAW!! Change a little USD to EGP cash, but try to pay everything in USD CASH (official rate in the bank 33, real rate 52 in early 2024), 1EUR=1USD there. We have received an immediate free room upgrade as they claimed, that the original room had problems with the toilet. The food was really delicious, very high variety and all were good. Coctails were also good. The pool was very clean (the large one was not heated). There were 3 huge tvs in the rooms, we have received 5 beds instead of 3 (4). The beach was at another hotel (JAZ FAYROUZ), 5-6 minutes walk from the reception across the street. Egypt is very safe for tourists, army checkpoints with light armored tanks are everywhere. There are 2x6 lanes on streets full of bumpers, where drivers must drive with max 2-3 km/h. Staff members are very friendly and help in every matter, even outside their responsibilities, don't hesitate to ask them (for) anything. There were a lot of amenities (Shampoo, shower gel), unfortunately not economically friendly (in small packages). Beds were comfortable, especially the double bed. We had a very large Samsung fridge+freezer, filled up with plenty of 1,5 liter water bottles for free - liked it pretty much. There was an ironing board and iron in the room - also not a common thing. IF YOU ORDER EXCURSIONS FROM A 3RD PARTY, DO NOT WRITE THE NAME OF THE HOTEL, BUT JAZ DREAMS, AS IT HAS THE SAME RECEPTION BUILDING AND THEY MIGHT MIX UP WITH ANOTHER HOTEL.

We have paid for 2 bedrooms and received a giant apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 showers / toilets, a very large living room and kitchen, 1 gigantic balcony looking at the pool and a smaller balcony on the other side, at least 100 m2. Unfortunately insulation on the roof was not perfect and numerous pigeons lived there, which loved the pool as well. We could not use one of the rooms and a shower, as we did not really like the odor of guano. There was no internet in the rooms but internet was really good in the lobby. Our rooms was far away from the reception, but instead of using the free shuttle service (08:00-23:00), we walked for having sport. On the first and second day there was no cleaning, and our room looked like as it was cleaned 4-5 months ago. From the 3rd day, there was a really good cleaning.

Old , everything (room, toilet, furniture, cleaning, sanitary even telephone wire was loose , doors are almost broken, no no no not a 5 star hotel at all , max 2 stars ⭐️ dinner was not nice with very limited facilities, sweets were too bad, bakery was good

I was positively impressed by the spaciousness of the accommodation, consisting of tow bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, and three bathrooms. The food was good, and I appreciated the complimentary resort-wide delivery service, making transportation more convenient. The staff were fantastic, friendly.

Unfortunately, the building was quite old, and only two out of the three bathrooms were usable, which was not satisfactory. The kitchen facilities were outdated, and there were no specific cleaning tools for quick post-shower cleanup or using cups for coffee, impacting the overall stay. The location was a bit far from the restaurant and beach, but the free resort delivery service partially compensated for this.

Fantastic Location, Immense choice of pools on the hotel grounds itself, attentiveness of staff, staff enthusiasm, room sizing (we were given a much larger “room” [Villa] than expected, free water bottles and fruit every day, beautiful lobby and good gym facilities, good location from the airport, bars situated in pools, very close to naama bay.

Our villa was very dusty and was littered with dead bugs; the locks on the patio doors were broken so there was effectively no security of our possessions. We had no Wi-fi and after raising it with the concierge and being assured an engineer was in the way, no internet was found by the end of our stay. There were inadequate shower facilities outside of guest bedrooms; so you are out of luck if you want to shower after a gym session or after dipping in the pool without returning to your room. Guest shuttle facilities were fantastic and rarely kept us waiting for trips to and from the room and the main hotel. A/C in our villa was very outdated (vent design ) and was also extremely noisy, making it quite hard to sleep in an otherwise peaceful environment. Some staff members were unrelenting in offering paid massages or excursions; adding the typical Egyptian touch to an otherwise hassle-free stay. The private beach wasn’t so private and was extremely busy despite visiting in a quieter period; this may be a problem at peak times. Food: The buffet for both breakfast and dinner was abysmal - i would liken it to prison food, or more accurately, gruel. however i feel that even Oliver Twist wouldn’t ask for more. Variety was not in the chefs vocabulary and I’m convinced that the hotel staff had an allergy to well cooked food and moist meat; as almost everything was either undercooked or drier than a rock on a hot summers day. I’d never filed a plate with food before and left it with more on than it came with until I stayed here.

Don't get close to the photographer on the pond a bad person embarrasses you and photographs you and you don't want then says he wants the money and then vows to hurt you if you don't pay him I advise you

in need of maintenance long walk to the beach so not ideal for young kids , all inclusive not what I’d expected have to walk a mile to get cold fries for a snack. more staff than guests and yet not once were we asked if we would like a drink at the bar- staff reluctantly gave soft drinks.

Aquapark is not available all the time and not all the rides are accessable No variety of food and the same food is repeated every day for 5 days. Food quality is very poor as well

Great food, great staf, friendly and helpfull. Hotel is a bit older but really good value for your money.

It was shame that the central pool didnt operate but whe it opens it will be really nice.

Mix up with room that wasn't rectified for the first two nights. Initial room not suitable for a couple.

Only two big slides worked in aqua park, the park was empty, no people, no bar. We expected more, especially kid's slides to work. Please write in description about aqua park. May be it was not season but people should know more about it.

The food was good, you have a lot of choices. Personal very polite. Good location, you make 10 min by foot to the center of naama bay where are bars, shops and restaurants. Private beach very beautiful.

The cleaning in the bathroom can be better. Some furniture are old. It's not a 5* star hotel. More like an european 2-3* hotel.

We had a suite in a Villa with our own pool. Quiet and peaceful area with no loud music. Refurbished family suite with lounge/kitchenette. The Caribi bar/cafe with comfy sofas, polite bar staff, great drink choices and proper made espresso coffee. They have a coffee machine in the restaurant too but I prefer real coffee. The food in the main restaurant was fit for a king. We had to control ourselves from over-filling our plates. Excellent dishes. Excellent salad, cheese and sushi deli. Excellent dessert counter. We really missed the food after moving hotels. Families welcome. Pharmacy onsite with small bazar. Some really nice and helpful staff. Reception staff are great. The pharmacy owner was very helpful. Some of the waiters and chefs are really nice (I can’t remember all their names but they were genuinely nice people)

What needs to be made clear in advance is the following : In Sharm el Sheikh some hotels are directly on the beach side and some are on the opposite side across the road - referred to as ‘mountain side’ or ‘palm area’. Beach hotels are more expensive and busy. We booked the Sharm Dreams Vacation Club and Aqua Park because it offered family suites. The reviews were mixed so we only booked a couple nights. There are 3 hotels on this site all under the same umbrella: Hotel Fayrouz on the beach side. Sharm dreams resort on the mountain side. Sharm dreams vacation club and Aqua park located further behind Sharm dreams resort on the mountain side. 1) Hotel Fayrouz - really nice and on the beach side. Have a look at a map. The main entrance is from the main road and rear exit directly onto Naama bay promenade and private beach. Rooms are chalet-type buildings. This place is quite expensive to book but seemed good quality. You will pass through Fayrouz and share its private beach. 2) Sharm dreams resort is across the main road on the mountain/palm side so obviously no direct beach access. You can see the sign from the main road. This hotel houses the main restaurant and bar that you will be using throughout your stay. They have a large wooden pagoda type frame on the front as a chill out and entertainment area. The reception area is massive although a little dated. You will be spending a lot of time in this area. 3) Sharm dreams ‘vacation club’ is further behind Sharm dreams resort and a short walk uphill. Reception is in main area of Sharm dreams resort. It doesn’t have its own restaurant as it’s all shared in the main area mentioned above. The ‘vacation club’ is cheaper because it’s older and further away from the beach and main road. And a good 5-10 min walk from reception. You must walk or wait for the shuttle bus. Great if you want to keep fit but not good if you struggle with walking uphill. The driver of the shuttle spoke no English but we managed.

Staff - facilities- system flexibility - reception cooperation and fast responses to any situation - professionalism - greenery - cleanliness - easily located - the rooms are vast and clean

Rooms are very far from the reception - room keys needed activation almost several times a day - a little expensive than the estimated - we came during winter yet the hot water was always lacking - no wifi.

the room was ready before the check-in time without any additional cost. the staff was responsive for requests. the size of the room was quite good. the Aqua park was good for my son

the phone was broken but the reception has called me on my mobile and kept this way of comm. the sink was hard too drain but they fix it second day

Aqua park was a fun experience for all ages. Food was delicious and something for everyone, with a variety of choices. Location was ideal. Staff were very accomadating and went the estra mile to be helpful.

I feel the pictures online didn't reflect our rooms, which we were dissapointed about. However, as the staff were very friendly and welcoming, we soon overlooked this. Heated pools could have been a bit warmer. WiFi had poor connection and only available outside the entrance, which was frustrating.
